Object-Role Modeling (ORM 2006) closes 30 June 2006. The workshop will be in Montpellier, France on 2-3 November 2006. Object-Role Modeling is a fact-based solution
for information modeling and the workshop is intended for researchers and practitioners interested in conceptual modeling. The ORM 2006 Workshop will be held in
conjunction with the On The Move Federated Conferences and Workshops. The deadline for abstracts is 30 June, with papers due 10 July.
The call for speakers is open for two Wilshire Conferences events:

theory, concepts, methodology, regulatory compliance, tools and case studies.
Seminars
Seminars and classes provide a learning opportunity for developers, system architects, database
administrators, and others who wish to stay abreast of SQL and related
technologies. Conferences provide an opportunity
to listen to experts, to exchange information, and to get technology
updates.
The slides from Ken North's data
access seminar at UnixExpo are now available. The seminar slides are in three
parts that explain ODBC, Java/JDBC,
and OLE DB/ADO.
