Data Access and Data Services Layers
Today's data services layers encapsulate logic for accessing data stores, typically using standards-based technology such as
ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET and Service Data Objects (SDO). Those specifications define solutions for uniformly accessing and manipulating data from a variety of data
sources.
The audience for DataServices World includes CTOs, enterprise architects, system architects, information
architects, developers, database gurus, DBAs, consultants and analysts. |

DataServices World 2008 Program
The DataServices World program represents an opportunity to learn about data access and data services from the experts. They
will discuss architecture and technology solutions for accessing, integrating and processing data from multiple sources while guaranteeing security and
scalability. Solutions they will discuss include robust, high-performance data access middleware, optimized databases, efficient protocol handling, tuned queries
and state of the art data services.

The conference program runs on June 24 at the Roosevelt Hotel, 45th and Madison Avenue, in New York City.
